I stumbled upon this deal that I’m deciding upon. Some might see it as a no-brainer, but for me there’s no such thing when it comes to spending money.
MacHeist is offering a bunch of cool and popular apps bundled together for $49USD. I didn’t know most of them, but I’d heard of a few of them and tried one in particular: Delicious Library. They all seem really cool at doing what they’re designed for. Included in the bundle is Delicious Library (an awesome cataloging program for dvds, cds, books, video games that has really cool functionality), Disco (a new disc burning utility with really fun graphics — smoke appears while you’re burning), FotoMagico (cool slideshow maker), ShapeShifter (applies graphical themes to OS X), DEVONthink Personal (a document/info manager), RapidWeaver (website editor), iClip 4 (super clipboard), a game from Pangea games, and two more apps that will be unlocked after the charity amount reaches certain levels.
Oh yeah, even though the price is so low, they’re donating 25% of the money to a charity (you choose among a bunch listed). Isn’t that cool?
Plus, there’s a time limit. I don’t know when it started, but there’s only 4 days left now. So, I guess I’d better hurry up and decide whether I’m going to do this or not.
